A&J Bros Dumpsters Terms & Conditions applied to all dumpster rentals:

✅By approving the new customer estimate provided, you are agreeing that your credit/debit card will be saved on file and charged the initial full payment of each dumpster rental requested onforward at moment of scheduling. The initial payment of the dumpster rental, including the distance fee, to be charged at time of scheduling. Without payment, dumpster will not be scheduled. Any additional overweight fee or other fees explained in our terms & conditions will be charge after pickup and a final invoice with all details will be sent to customer. Review terms & Conditions to know what items have an additional fee, what the fee is for overweight, for extensions, for overload, for mixing materials not allow in certain dumpsters, etc. Terms & Conditions are found at bottom of each estimate, bottom of each invoice, and on our website. Prices and additional fees subject to change with notice during scheduling dumpster rental.

✅Distance fee always depends on the distance from San Jose to other cities. Price can vary between $50 to 600, depending on how close or how far. $For example, Morgan Hill, Milpitas & Campbell distance fee is an additional $50. San Francisco is $150, Oakland is $175, Pittsburg is $200, Fairfield $500, Sacramento $600 to $700. Let us know what city and we will let you know the distance fee to that city.  

✅ Overweight fee is .65₵ for every 10 Lbs. or $130 for every ton overweight. Overweight fee is applied after dumpster is picked up and taken to recycling center to be weighed. Total weight is then updated on the invoice and any overweight fee is added to the invoice. Overweight fees are automatically charged to debit/credit cards placed on file. Invoice is sent for customers records. 

✅Freon containing items are refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, & water coolers and have a $25 fee for every (1) item. For disposing of large quantity of freon containing items, contact us directly.  Customer is reminded of terms & conditions, notified of fee, and card on file is charged.

✅Mattresses have an additional fee depending on the size Twin/full size cost $20 each, Queen cost $40 each, king size cost $50 each. Box springs with metal spring in them also cost by size. Price same as mattresses. Box spring with no springs in them are free of charge. Contact us for by size and quantity fee. if you have multiple mattresses, let us know to see if we can give discount. ✅Tires have an additional fee depending on the size.  Small sedan cost $15 each, Medium SUV cost $ 25 each, and large truck cost $40 each. Customer is reminded of terms & conditions, notified of fee, and card on file is charged.

✅Each dumpster includes a 7-day rental, i.e., Monday to Monday. Rental price is the same for 1 day or 7 days. The rental extension fee is $20 per day, $100 second week, $200 third week. Maximum rental time per rental is 3 weeks in total. Rental extensions are based on availability. Customer is reminded of terms & conditions, notified of fee, and card on file is charged.

✅Clean dirt 10 yard dumpster rental is $600, not including distance fee. if Cement/Gravel/Paver/Sand/Asphalt/Brick is added to a clean dirt rental - price increases to $800. If any other material is added - price changes to by weight with only 1 ton included and the rest will be charged as overweight. Customer is reminded of terms & conditions, notified of fee, and card on file is charged.

✅Clean cement 10 yard dumpster rental is $600 filled to rim only for safety. Price does not including distance fee. if dirt/Gravel/Paver/Sand/Asphalt/Brick is added to a clean dirt rental - price increases to $800. If any other material is added - price changes to by weight with only 1 ton included and the rest will be charged as overweight. Customer is reminded of terms & conditions, notified of fee, and card on file is charged.

✅If 10 yard clean dirt or 10 yard clean cement dumpster is filled past rim, there will be an additional inappropriate overloading fee of $200 added. Driver has the right to refuse dumpster removal due to inappropriate overload/weight. Customer is reminded of terms & conditions, notified of fee, and card on file is charged.

✅No dirt or cement in household/construction/demolition/greens only dumpster rentals due to material weight, corresponding overweight fee, and fee change at recycling center. If dumpsters weight is unsafe for pickup due to dirt or cement being added, an additional inappropriate overloading fee of $300 added aside from the overweight fee that will be added at the recycling center. Customer is reminded of terms & conditions, notified of fee, and card on file is charged. Driver has the right to refuse dumpster removal due to inappropriate overload/weight.

✅If other material besides Dirt/Cement/ Gravel/pavers/Sand/Asphalt/Brick is added to the 10 yard dumpster meant for this material only, a fee will be added according to how much was added.

✅Rentals for Household items, construction or demolition debris - no inappropriate overloading (more then 2 inches past dumpster top rim). Fill dumpster to top rim only for road safety. If dumpster is filled past rim and is unsafe for the road, there will be an additional inappropriate overloading fee of $200 added. Customer is reminded of terms & conditions, notified of fee, and card on file is charged. Driver has the right to refuse dumpster removal due to inappropriate overload/weight. ✅Food and canned goods is not recyclable. If we are not notified of more than 1 large black bag of food being disposed of into dumpster before pickup,  an additional fee of $40 for every ton will be added due to additional disposal fee paid at the recycling center. Let us know if food is needed to be disposed of to instruct on how to dispose of properly. Customer is reminded of terms & conditions, notified of fee, and card on file is charged.

✅If the driver arrives at the location to drop off/exchange/pickup and is canceled by customer upon arrival or while driver is traveling to customer location, a fee of $200.00 is added to the invoice. Customer is reminded of terms & conditions, notified of fee, and card on file is charged.

✅If Dumpster drop off/swap is canceled after driver left, and driver is required to return, an additional fee of $300 is added to invoice. Customer is reminded of terms and conditions, notified of fee, and card on file is charged.

✅If the driver arrives onsite, and is unable to drop off, due to no placement indicated or confirmed, placement blocked, onsite contact person unreachable, house owner declines dumpster, dumpster needed to be swapped or picked up is blocked or removal is unsafe, a fee of either $200 or $300 will be added, depending on distance. If driver indicates any other reason that may arise depending on situation while trying to drop-off/exchange/pickup, it will also fall into this category. Customer is reminded of terms & conditions, notified of fee, and card on file is charged.

✅If the driver is indicated by an onsite worker where to place the dumpster, then we are later contacted to move the dumpster, there will be a $200 fee added to the invoice. If dumpster is needed in a specific spot, please notify us when scheduling via call or text. A photo of the exact spot can be shared via text. Customer is reminded of terms & conditions, notified of fee, and card on file is charged.

✅If driver is requested to wait onsite for dumpster to be filled, the office must be notified ahead of time to let driver know of request. If driver is needed to wait more then 30 minutes, a fee of $50 is added, than each additional 30 minutes is $100. If wait time was indicated and included in the rental, this fee does not apply. If office was requested during scheduling for driver to wait while dumpster is being filled, depending on set agreement between customer and office, this fee does not apply. Customer is reminded of terms & conditions, notified of fee, and card on file is charged.

✅Treated wood is wood that has been treated with special chemicals to avoid being rotted. This wood is usually found in decks, fence post, etc. This wood is considered as contaminated by the recycling center and is charged an additional fee if disposed of in the dumpster mixed with regular household hold or construction debris. If customer does not notify us that there is treated wood to be disposed of in order for us to instruct on how to dispose of properly and notify additional fee, and treated wood is found inside the dumpster at the recycling center, the dumpster rental fee will change to $300 for each ton of weight. To avoid this fee, please let us know so we can instruct on how to dispose of properly and the cost for us to dispose of. Customer is reminded of terms & conditions, notified of fee, and card on file is charged.

✅If a dumpster will be including treated wood, the overweight fee changes to $300 per ton.  

✅It is the clients responsibility to place plywood on driveway if they wish. We are not responsible for any damage to the driveway. 10 yard dumpsters for dirt and/or cement can weigh up to 15 tons, and can cause cracks. We advise to place plywood of 1.5 to 2 inches if felt needed. 

✅If you believe that items/debris was added to the dumpster by neighbors or passerby, unfortunately, we are not responsible and discount cannot be applied if overweight. 

✅Dumpsters that are out for more then 4 weeks and we have not received complete payment for prior rental and have not been able to communicate with customer, dumpster will be picked up and items/debris inside will be left behind on property. We have the right to do so due to no payment and/or no communication. 

✅TAKE NOTE: WE DO NOT TAKE INSIDE DUMPSTER: FOOD (not communicated of), TOXIC WASTE MATERIALS, PROPRAINE TANKS (empty or full), ASBESTO, OILS, LIQUIDS, PAINT CANS, CHEMICALLY TREATED (CURED) WOOD, FLORENSCENT LIGHTS, OR ANY HAZARDOUS MATERIALS.
